Takreem Foundation Podcast
Host of “Tak on the Pod,” a podcast by the TAKREEM and TAKREEM AMERICA Foundation highlighting the untold success stories of remarkable individuals from the MENA region
About the Foundation
TAKREEM was established in 2009 with the aim of accompanying the makeover of the Arab world’s image and rectifying its misconceptions. By highlighting Arab accomplishments all around the world and playing its part in bringing together the actors for a much-needed change, TAKREEM became the torchbearer of a momentum, an identity, a leap of faith in a tortured region.
Since its inception, TAKREEM has honored and awarded close to 150 laureates from almost every Arab country. It has built bridges between North Africa, the Middle East, the Gulf, and the worldwide Arab diaspora. It has created a community of like-minded people and acted as a gateway for the region’s cultural, educational, scientific, environmental, humanitarian, social and economic excellence. Beyond paying tribute and forging links, TAKREEM continues to create the needed environment and dynamics for the Arab world to move forward, leave a mark, and provide future generations with a different kind of role models.
In 2019, TAKREEM AMERICA was born from this indelible footprint – a simple yet profound desire to strengthen the bond that ties Arab Americans to their roots by enabling them to join forces with the thriving youth of their motherland.
