My focus extended beyond the CD-single packaging to encompass various components of the promotional package. This included designing the CD face artwork, an 18x24 folding poster, and mock-ups for promo packaging and t-shirt graphics. For my interpretation of the re-design, I decided to center it around Michael Angelo's iconic painting, "The Last Judgment." This choice stemmed from its portrayal of the final and eternal judgment by God upon humanity before their transition to either heaven or hell. I felt that this painting offered an alternative perspective on the concept of "Highway to Hell," adding depth and symbolism to the promotional package. Through careful attention to detail and a creative approach, my re-design aimed to capture the spirit of ACDC's music without relying on their established visual identity.
